Painting: September Challenge – Day 1

I usually don’t post, paint or work on Sundays. Today, however, is an exception.

There is a good reason! I entered a challenge “30 Painting in 30 Days posted by Leslie Saeta“.

As many of you know, I have painted one piece a day (Monday thru Friday). So, I hope adding two more paintings to my week will be a breeze. Of course, the goal here is to the commitment, but at the same time it will be a perfect opportunity, for all participants, to share the works, make new friends, learn from each other and most important part, have fun. In fact, if you want, you could join in as well.

My first painting of the month, is a variation of Friday’s art work. If you didn’t see my earlier post, I wasn’t too happy about the clouds. I worked on it on Saturday, but had to scrape it all off and tried again this morning. I know I have to work on understanding the values, hues and perspective of clouds. For that reason, I will paint variations of landscapes filled with cloudy skies, at least for a week. How exciting!!!! 😀

I leave you with Day 1 painting:

Have a wonderful Sunday!!! 😀

UPDATE: SOLD
