Painting: Sept. Challenge – Day 2

Today I wondered about my color scheme?  How did I end up with these colors on the board? Do I do it on purpose? Maybe is unconscious.

The way I start is by planning what I will paint. I draw the scenery on the canvas. Then, I choose the hues base on the mood I want to convey and next I brush each color as I see it in my mind.  However, by the time I finished painting, it is always a bit more colorful than first thought.

For that reason, I will draw tomorrow’s painting on my tablet tonight (it is great for this kind of things), but choose a controlled palette. Let’s hope it goes well.
