I love flowers, but mostly, I like to appreciate them in their natural habitat. However, today was an exception.
It is good practice to paint from still life. I mean, looking at the physical flowers and not from a picture. That is why I bought some at the supermarket today.
After I completed the painting, I realized that there was no real contrast, between shadow and light. So, for tomorrow I will use my lighting equipment to make it more interesting.
In the meantime… here is Day 10 Painting:
Thanks for stopping by! 😀
Have I told you already that I simply adore your colours?

I’ve been travelling for four weeks, didn’t really have the time to check in on my blogs! Back now, still a little jetlagged, but catching up… 🙂

I don’t really miss any shadows, I like the painting as it is, it’s kind of a special still life, very lively, positive and powerful! 🙂

Striking! Though the values are similar, I think you get plenty of contrast with the orange against to blue.
