Painting: 30 in 30 – Day 4

Having to decide what to paint isn’t so easy after all. This morning, I spent about an hour just going through hundreds of photographs. It wasn’t because I couldn’t find one, but because I couldn’t make up my mind which one to paint. My hope is that I learned my lesson and go through the picking process tonight.

As I said yesterday, color is my thing! I just love using tons of different hues in the same painting. It could be a bit overwhelming to look at, sometimes. But for some strange reason, my tendency is to  saturate the canvas with all shades of the rainbow, which I don’t mind, of course (LOL :D), it’s fun!

The photograph I used this time is from James Berger at PMP. Thank you James for the inspiration!!!

Here is Day 4 painting, but there is nothing like looking it live. In this picture, strokes of paints disappear, some orange hues turn blush and the contrast intensifies a bit. (I really need to figure this one out). Overall, however, it is pretty much the same tonality, in other words, really intense! 😀

Happy Wednesday!!
